In de omgeving van Emmer-Compascuum

Na de ceremonie zal het bruidspaar met de daggasten gaan eten, alle andere gasten willen we vragen om tussen de ceremonie en het feest de locatie te verlaten.

De ceremonie zal tot circa 15:30 uur duren, daarna zien we jullie graag weer terug op het feest, wat om 20:00 uur zal beginnen.

We kunnen ons voorstellen dat jullie niet weten wat er te beleven valt in Emmer-Compascuum, daarom hebben we hieronder enkele suggesties voor jullie opgesteld:

Omgeving:

• Op slechts 20 minuutjes afstand vind je de stad Emmen
• Je zit vlakbij de Duitse Grens, geniet van een middagje in Duitsland. Hier zitten prachtige natuurgebieden, eentje die wij specifiek aanraden is Dankernsee.
• Ten zuiden van Emmer-Compascuum vind je het natuurgebied: Bargerveen. Prachtig om lekker te wandelen
• Ten noorden van Emmen zijn verschillende Hunebedden te bezichtingen

Eten:

• Grillroom en Pizzeria Compascuum
• In Emmen zijn meerdere restaurants te vinden, op Tripadvisor kun je alvast wat onderzoek doen.
• Bij het natuurgebied Dankernsee zitten verschillende restaurantjes in de buurt.

The area around Emmer-Compascuum

After the ceremony, the wedding couple will eat with the day guests. We'd like to ask all other guests to leave the location after the ceremony until the party starts.

The ceremony will end around 15:30, after which we'd like to see you again at the party, which starts at 20:00.

We can imagine you have no idea what to do when you find yourself in Emmer-Compascuum, so we've made a list of suggestions:

Area:

• The city of Emmen is a 20 minute drive away
• You're very close to the German border, so how about an afternoon in Germany? There's some beautiful nature around, we especially recommend Dankernsee.
• To the south is the Bargerveen, great for a nice walk
• To the north, you can visit several 'Hunebedden'.

Food:

• Grillroom en Pizzeria Compascuum
• There are multiple restaurants in Emmen, Tripadvisor will definitely help you out.
• The nature reserve Dankernsee has a couple of restaurants as well.

Overnachtingsmogelijkheden

Geen zin om na het feest nog een (lange) rit naar huis te maken? Dat kunnen wij ons voorstellen, daarom vinden jullie hier een aantal Overnachtingsmogelijkheden:

Kamperen

• Minicamping Kolderweide 1,5km van de locatie
• Minicamping Molenhof 150 meter van de locatie

Hotels

Emmen zit op 20 minuten rijden van Emmer-Compascuum, hier zijn diverse hotels/(Air)BnB's te vinden.

Slaapzaal op locatie:

Voor degene die niet in een tent willen slapen, maar ook niet nog willen rijden na het feest is het mogelijk om op locatie te slapen in de danszaal. Houdt hierbij rekening met de volgende zaken:

• Het is niet toegestaan om met schoenen de danszaal te betreden, deze dien je bij de ingang uit te doen.
• Neem je eigen luchtbed/matje, slaapzak en kussen mee.
• Geef van tevoren aan dat je graag een plek in de slaapzaal wil, dit kan via het formulier waarbij je ook je aanwezigheid doorgeeft.

Sleeping

Not looking forward to driving a (long) ride home after the party? We can imagine. Which is why we listed a couple of sleeping arrangements!

Camping

• Minicamping Kolderweide 1,5km from the location
• Minicamping Molenhof 150 meter from the location

Hotels

Emmen is 20 minutes driving distance and has several hotels or (Air)BnB's.

Sleeping hall at the location

For those who'd rather not sleep in a tent, but also don't want to drive after the party, it is possible to sleep in the dancing hall at the location. Please mind the following rules:

• You can not enter the dancing hall whilst wearing shoes; you'll need to take them off at the entrance.
• Bring your own air mattress, sleeping bag and pillow.
• Let us know in advance if you'd like a spot in the sleeping hall. You can do this with the form which you also use to let us know if you'll be attending or not.

Help! Ik heb geen vervoer naar Emmer-Compascuum!

Je kan met het Openbaar vervoer naar Emmer-Compascuum, vanuit station Emmen rijdt buslijn 92 naar Emmer-Compascuum. Deze rijdt één keer per uur op zaterdag. Wanneer je uitstapt bij bushalte 'De Spoel' is het nog 20 minuten lopen naar de trouwlocatie.

Veel mensen zullen met de auto komen, we willen jullie dan ook graag de gelegenheid bieden om te carpoolen. Heb je vervoer nodig, of heb je nog een plekje over in de auto? Vul dan onderstaand formulier in:

Help! I have no way of getting to Emmer-Compascuum!

Fear not! There's public transport to Emmer-Compascuum: bus 92 departs from the train station of Emmen. This is an hourly service on Saturday. Get out at the stop 'De Spoel', and it's about 20 minutes walking to the location.
